Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Porter to join our team. The Porter will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of all common areas, including hallways, restrooms, and break rooms.

• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.

• Assist with the setup and breakdown of meeting rooms and events.

• Ensure proper disposal of waste and recycling materials.

• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and report any shortages to the supervisor.

• Assist with minor maintenance tasks and report any major repairs needed.

• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

• Provide support to other departments as needed.

Essential Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Good communication skills.

• Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting and moving heavy objects.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Comfortable standing on feet for 8+ hours

• Ability to lift 10-25 lbs consistently

Work Environment

1st shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 2nd shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin Township, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
