Description

Seeking an experienced Exchange Engineer to join our internal IT department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the life cycle management of on-premises and cloud messaging services, including but not limited to Exchange Hybrid environment, Teams, Slack, and Mimecast. Responsibilities: • Include but are not limited to: • Installation, design, migration, and retirement of the following services: ○ Exchange on-premises & Exchange Online Hybrid environment ○ Email security implementation and maintenance ○ Microsoft Teams ○ Slack ○ Mimecast Journaling ○ Mimecast Security • Monitor and respond to critical emails/issues off-hours • Interact with other teams to assist in troubleshooting

Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience engineering and administering Exchange on-premises and/or Exchange Online • Experience engineering and administering Exchange Hybrid environment • Experience with Microsoft Teams • Experience with DMarc compliance and implementation • Understanding of SMTP concepts • Understanding of Exchange on-premises and/or Exchange online mail flow • Understanding of IIS • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting Required Skills: • Excellent troubleshooting, organizational, and time management skills • Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team • Initiative to research and resolve problems • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • Ability to create high-quality documentation with precision • Excellent analytical and research skills • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills • Ability to multi-task and complete tasks with efficiency and accuracy • Creativity and innovation skills with the ability to think outside of the box and generate new ideas • Highly organized and methodical with meticulous attention to detail • Self-motivated with the ability to work with limited direction and oversight • Ability to self-study and engage in independent work to increase job-related knowledge and skills • Desire to remain up to date with industry trends Preferred Qualifications: • ITIL certification • Microsoft/Azure technology-related certification • Microsoft 365 Messaging administrator certification • Knowledge of Microsoft CoPilot

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $70.00/hr.
