SHI Customer Success Manager - Inside Sales in Somerset, New Jersey

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and versatile professional to fill the role of Customer Success Manager – Inside Sales. This role combines elements of supply chain management and IT solutions consulting to enhance our operations and expand our market presence. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with sales, operations, and other internal teams to optimize our processes and deliver exceptional customer solutions.

Responsibilities

Include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage the renewal process to maintain and grow existing customer accounts.

  • Enhance demand planning by improving visibility into lead times and stock levels, optimizing project planning, inventory management, and quoting processes.

  • Streamline Accounts Receivable/Payable (AR/AP) processes to improve cash flow and ensure timely payments.

  • Manage operational aspect of sales including order entry, quoting, project planning, and logistics coordination to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Operate within SLA timelines set forth by management.

  • Oversee AR/AP tasks, including issue resolution and processing of international documentation.

  • Address ad-hoc requests and project-related inquiries through effective customer communication.

  • Facilitate technical conversations with our customers by engaging and collaborating with the appropriate internal teams at SHI

  • Support internal management processes such as updating AirTable, maintaining price books, handling freight quotes, tracking inventory, and part conversions.

Qualifications

  • 2 Years of Inside Sales Experience or equivalent

  • Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint, Outlook, and basic PC knowledge

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel

  • Previous experience with project management preferred

  • Previous Sales Operations experience preferred

Additional Information

  • The estimated annual pay range for this position is $70,000 - $140,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
