The Manager, Talent Pipeline Programs identifies, creates and sustains the various talent pipeline engagements, community relationships and strategically sources talent for future workforce needs. This position is responsible for branding Swagelok as a top employer, identifying partnerships to reach diverse talent populations and connects with the business to lead the implementation of talent programs. These programs are focused on attracting and developing talent for the future across the company. This role will lead a team of talent program specialists to foster relationships, operationalize critical talent pipelines and measure success. Key success factors for this position include balancing creativity with business adoption and execution, internal and external collaboration, and meeting overall expectations for current and future hiring needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute a strategic plan, which prioritizes the overall talent pipeline with business objectives. Key success factors include balancing creativity, internal and external collaboration, attention to detail, and meeting overall expectations for a portfolio of roadmap initiatives. Focus Areas include:

  • High school engagement and program expansion

  • Technical school program growth and expansion

  • University programs including co-ops, internships and career development program(s)

  • Veteran and military outreach and proactive engagement

  • Multicultural diversity planning and expansion

  • Innovation of new pipelines and relationships

  • Partner with the business to develop and execute department objectives that support overall talent acquisition strategies.

  • Develop strategic partnerships and ensure function builds and sustains relationships with professional associations, educational institutions, governmental and nonprofit organizations todevelop and maintain talent pipelines.

  • Creates the processes, infrastructure to leverage systems to drive continuous improvement and sustainability within talent pipeline and sourcing activities

  • Develop and sustain ROI metrics for all pipelines with the ability to understand and explain value of pipelines and benefit.

  • Lead a team of program specialists that serve as brand ambassadors, develop and foster internal and external relationships, create and operationalize critical talent pipelines and measure success focused on diversity talent attraction and development

  • Inspire trust and provide guidance, mentorship, and career development to improve performance through consistent feedback and coaching

  • Ensure department wide familiarity and adherence to talent acquisition and broader human resources policies and procedures.

  • Remain current on market trends, economics, best practices, and the needs of the business.

  • Ensure appropriate regulatory requirements are met with AAP, ADA and EEO compliance.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years experience including:

  • 3 years of progressive team leadership experience

  • 3 years leading large corporate initiatives or projects

  • Thorough understanding and demonstrated application of talent acquisition, community engagement and relationship building

  • Demonstrated advanced implementation of problem-solving techniques

Skills/Knowledge:

  • Knowledge and demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and connect with a variety of diverse populations

  • Fully capable of understanding and analyzing data trends

  • Demonstrated ability to drive, lead, and influence complex projects

  • Advanced problem solving and decision-making ability

  • Excellent oral and written communication

  • Ability to communicate and influence internal stakeholders, including senior leadership

  • Demonstrate history of strong leadership and team development

  • Demonstrate broad general business acumen in order to effectively represent the company and its brand in the community

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Human Resources or equivalent

  • Previous experience in community engagement and partnership

  • Enterprise-wide program development and implementation

Working Conditions and/or Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
