Receptionist

What would you do as our Receptionist

As our Receptionist, you would provide reception duties and additional administration support to the team. The role requires an enthusiastic individual with very good interpersonal skills and with the aptitude to take on varied tasks. Attention to detail is a must. In this position, you would also raise routine maintenance orders (CCTV), provide data entry assistance for sales operations, install operations, service operations and training operations as well as handle customer enquiries and correspondence via email and telephone. The position will report directly to the Operations Administration Manager and is an office-based role at the Biosite head office in Solihull (West Midlands).

You would also:

  • Answer and screen incoming calls for the company

  • Provide ad hoc front of house; welcoming guests including check in and making refreshments

  • Ensure post is sent out and deliver incoming post internally as well as receive and coordinate deliveries

  • Manage meeting space calendars, ensure all relevant preparations are completed ahead of stakeholder meetings and prepare meeting spaces

  • Raise support tickets for internal and external stakeholders

    The skills and experience you need

    We are looking for someone who has:

  • Administrative and data entry experience

  • Reception or customer service experience with inbound call handling

  • IT competencies (Word, Excel and Outlook)

  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy

  • Enthusiastic, team player with a can-do attitude

    You should also have good communication and relationship skills as well as good organization skills to meet daily and weekly deadlines.
