Cisco Webex Calling SW Development Engineer

Who You'll Work With

The Cisco Webex Calling Team is transforming how people communicate globally and driving productivity to unprecedented levels through enhanced user experience and cloud-enabled workflows. You’ll be part of a highly empowered collaborative team that is passionate about the successful development of Cisco’s collaboration portfolio.

As a Software Engineer, you will:

• Design, develop, own and maintain areas of our Mac, Windows, Android or iOS codebase in C/C++, Java/Kotlin or Objective C/Swift. You will work on features that span through our entire technology stack.`

Integrate cross-platform APIs.

• Integrate third-party APIs from various platform vendors (Google, Apple, etc).

*

Utilize communication protocols like SIP and RTP.

• Collaborate with the product team to clear out requirements and UX designs

You are the ideal candidate if:

• You have 4+ years of experience professionally developing production software,

*

You have a solid understanding of software engineering practices and OOP.

• You have experience working with large scale applications using a modern frameworks is a plus

*

You have a good understanding of multi-threading and low-level socket communication

• You have solid understanding of commonly adopted software security guidelines.

*

You have excellent communication and presentation skills in English.

• You aren’t afraid of rolling your sleeves up and working in all layers of the stack.

*

You have been part of a team with shipped successfully products to production.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Bonus points:

• Practical experience with GIT.

• Experience with Jira, Confluence.

• Experience Qt,QML, JavaScript.
