What you`ll do:

Summary:We are looking for a Senior Software Developer with ABAP for the SAP S/4HANA for product compliance solution. The solution supports customers to manage products and keep them compliant to applicable regulations across the whole product lifecycle.

The Role:As a senior software developer, you will participate and often lead all phases of software development and delivery (research, prototyping, design, architecture, implementation, and testing), learn and work with SAP development tools and technologies (SAP Fiori and SAP UI5 frameworks, ABAP programming language, Core Data Services (CDS), public APIs), adhere to industry best practices, and build advanced product and technical knowledge of SAP Sustainability solutions.

What you bring:

• Solid experience with ABAP and object-oriented programming is mandatory. Hand-on experience with SAP Fiori and SAP UI5 frameworks, RAP, Core Data Services (CDS)

• Has advanced level and broad overall product and technical knowledge and is recognized internally and externally as a subject matter expert

• Consistently demonstrates initiative and end to end ownership of topics with high quality, speed, reliability, and efficiency. Readiness and experience to drive successfully cross-product topics and priorities

• Constantly improves work methods and engineering skills in the team and beyond to establish state-of-the-art agile software engineering practices. Easily moves into new topics

• Problem-solving and analytical skills. Works autonomously, resolves complex issues within own area of expertise and supports others in resolving complex issues

• Ready to create technical specifications of programs and interfaces based on functional specifications provided. Defines deliverables and provides advice and recommendations that may affect future design decisions

• Previous experience with customer support, with ability to handle escalations with integrity and agility

• Self-motivated, self-driven, curious, open minded, resourceful, and flexible with the ability to learn and multiply knowledge in the team quickly

• Represents the company externally on specific subject matters
