What you`ll do:

The Tools Team is an internal service delivery and software development area responsible for defining, designing, and implementing the applications that support the entire product development organization in their daily work. You will be part of an international team working with international SAP internal customers.

We are establishing a brand-new Scrum team responsible for the development and maintenance of tools, related to team and portfolio management:

EPPM is our central system to plan and track solution portfolio investments from both , Lucid Capacity is an internal SAP tool for simplified Capacity Management in development and Hyperspace Portal is the central entry point forthe developers at SAP. The Portal provides the perfect environment to build cloud-native services and business applications on top of the Business Technology Platform (BTP).

We are looking for a product owner of a small international team co-located in Sofia.

As Product Owner, you give your team direction and focus through a clear backlog and well-balanced priorities, aligned to our overall strategy, and in day-to-day interaction with your team. With every sprint and with planning increment, we want to deliver business value and make our users a little bit happier. Youll be the main contact and will work directly with the stakeholders via different communication channels.

You are also entitled to participate in our unit-wide research initiative that reserves up to 10% of our time for research & innovation.

What you bring:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field

• At least 5 years of experience in the software industry

• Proven experience as a Product Owner for a software product

• Strong passion for delivering excellent user experiences

• Solid business acumen with the ability to prioritize based on business value

• Agile mindset with experience in Scrum or SAFe

• Awareness of current trends in software development

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

• Ability to work in a hybrid model, with availability to be present in Sofia

The following are not mandatory but will be considered a strong plus:

• Knowledge of controlling and portfolio management

• Experience with developer portals and CI/CD

• Agile certifications (e.g., Certified Product Owner, SAFe Agile Certified Practitioner)
