SAP (Maternity replacement) Project Manager in Sofia, Bulgaria

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Project Manager to participate in key projects, manage communications with customers, and drive complex migration projects that serve both internal and external stakeholders. This role is vital to our organization’s success and will involve managing program-related work, ensuring successful engagements across teams, and upholding high standards of delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership:  

  • Ensuring that objectives are met on time and within budget.  

  • Develop project plans and schedules; track progress to proactively address potential challenges.

  • Customer Communication:

  • Act as a primary point of contact for customers (both internal and external), understanding their requirements and addressing any issues or inquiries promptly and professionally.  

  • Facilitate regular updates, reports, and meetings to keep main stakeholders, internal teams and external customers informed about project status.

  • Migration Projects:  

  • Execute migration initiatives for both internal and external customers.

  • Coordinate technical teams and ensure smooth transitions with minimal disruption to all stakeholders.

  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard project success during the migration process.

  • Program-Related Work:

  • Manage and oversee program-related activities that may span multiple projects, ensuring compliance with established guidelines.  

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate different project components into a cohesive program. •

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

  • Project management experience with a proven track record of managing complex projects

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage relationships with external customers and internal teams.

  • Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools such as MS Project, JIRA, or similar software.

  • Excellent organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.  

Additional Skills:

  • Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.

  • Prior experience in IT system migrations and program management is a strong advantage.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess project performance and implement improvements.

  • Certified Project Manager (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
