Stanley Black and Decker ​Digital Training Developer (Slough, Hybrid) in Slough, United Kingdom

Location: Hybrid . 3-2 days onsite in our UK, Slough office.

Purpose

The EMEA/ANZ training department are extending their multi-platform training solutions. Digital excellence is one of the key pillars of our business. We’re looking for someone to support the accelerated development of on-line digital training material to meet the growing demand from our customers. Reporting to the Digital Training Manager.

The Job (responsibilities):

  • Create and develop digital training of SBD products using the Articulate software, for both internal and external training sites

  • Create video content– both filming and editing (we have our own studio in Slough)

  • Source and prepare images from our internal library

  • Leverage AI for content generation

  • Upload translations and liaise with Commercial Training Managers to prepare courses for publishing

  • Editing and approval of new course material

  • Liaising with the US Digital team to review training material that can be adapted for EMEA/ANZ to increase our volume of courses

  • Support digital tracking & reporting

The Person (requirements):

  • Proven experience in a similar role: Learning & Development, Training Development

  • Relevant qualification in digital content creation, marketing or other relevant

  • IT Skills: Experience working with Photoshop & video editing software (Premiere Pro, After Effects or Camtasia)

  • Articulate 360 is an advantage but training can be provided

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate across and throughout the organization

  • Growth mindset

  • Team player; able to build relationships in a hybrid environment

  • Effective organisation skills with the ability to multi-task
