Job Description

The Regional Security Manager role will manage domestic and international area(s) (multiple regions) by developing, implementing and managing strategic security services and tactical planning in partnership with Director, EMEA Global Security.

Responsibilities:

  • You will have primary responsibility to work with Director, Internal and external Manufacturing Security, Europe and Asia to deliver the Enterprise Global Security Crisis preparedness and Business Continuity program on the sites in your region

  • You will lead the alignment of key Global Security platforms and capabilities within site preparedness and resilience programs.

  • You will be responsible for leading the delivery of security onboarding and awareness and training to the employee body in your region and to provide security advice and assessment upon request.

  • You will work within the enterprise Global Security organisation, to deliver detailed, tailored strategic threat assessments on the threats identified within your designated region which may affect business resilience & essential operations.

  • You will partner with site leadership teams across your allocated region to lead the development of capacity within the Security Coordinator network, already established within the business.

  • You will be responsible for the protection of people, assets and information in your assigned region.

  • You will have geographical accountability in terms of organization assets, facilities, and the number and size of operating sites

  • In this role, you identify, develop, implement, and maintain security processes across the organization to limit exposure to liability in an effort to reduce financial loss.

  • As the Regional SME (subject matter expert) in your field, your role is to identify significant security risks “while providing site support for executive protection on area and regional visits, and special events.”

  • A key element of this role is to develop and implement policies, procedures, standards, training, methods, strategies and programs to prevent or mitigate company losses due to theft, misuse, vandalism, assault, product tampering, espionage, sabotage or financial loss.

  • In addition to directing the approach, deployment and execution of investigations, and team-based development effort, you will also maintain close relationships with high level law enforcement, intelligence and private sector counterparts (to include in-country security and international security agencies).

  • As a key strategic partner to the business, you will brief and advise senior leadership on the status of area security issues and also lead global security programs & projects.

  • Bachelor’s degree plus at least 15 years of experience or Master’s degree plus 10 years of experience in a relevant area of study and work experience with major law enforcement, military, intelligence, public service or private sector security organization. International equivalent to Bachelor’s / Master’s degree is acceptable.

  • Ability to lead and manage the overall security program for a particular/multiple region

  • International work experience in these areas is highly desired.

  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills with the ability to present to and influence senior and executive leadership are required.
