This position reports into Manufacturing Excellence/PMO Lead and is based at Helsingborg, Sweden.

The Helsingborg site is one of the largest employers in the city of Helsingborg, and the business is divided in two separate departments: Operations, where we house our manufacturing activities and R & D, our global development center for excellence working in three therapeutic areas for selfcare treatments: Smoking Cessation, Digestive Health and Cough & Cold. What you will do

The Operational Excellence Lead is responsible for implementing and sustaining best in class process standards and KPIs in pursuit of world class manufacturing. You will execute the regional Kenvue Operational Excellence (KOE) roadmap including areas of focus in overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), cycle time improvement, waste reduction and performance management. You will also train team members in process improvement methodologies and work in partnership with internal and external supply chain and logistics partners to drive E2E process improvements:

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Kenvue Operational Excellence roadmap to drive continuous improvement initiatives and achieve operational excellence goals.

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize processes, increase efficiency, and reduce waste.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities and implement solutions.

  • Influence and coach team members on world class manufacturing standards and tools

  • Provide training and coaching to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve processes and drive innovation.

  • Lead and manage the implementation of operational excellence programs and initiatives across all production operations to maximize quality and output

  • Develop and deploy business process standards aligned with compliance and best practices to improve cost/efficiency and service

  • Execute the regional process capability roadmap and other process improvement solutions to drive continuous improvement and problem-solving methodologies such as design thinking, lean, and six sigma across all production operations

  • Collaborate with internal and external supply chain and logistics partners to identify and implement local good practices that can be deployed to improve process standards and KPIs for all production operations

  • Implement KOE methodology across all production operations and drive operational excellence across all elements and processes

  • Proactively identify gaps and opportunities in local processes with a compliance approach and sustain and monitor the progress on process improvement implementation

  • Oversee the daily/weekly progress of projects timeline, scope, and quality and actively manage risks and problems, mitigation efforts as appropriate

  • Prepare onboarding and engagement sessions, agendas, minutes, and meeting events for new staff and project leaders

  • Provide technical expertise and support to project leaders throughout the implementation of projects related to production operations, interacting with areas of Quality, Operations, Engineering, and EHS

Qualifications

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • Engineering degree or equivalent with 3-4 years within a manufacturing environment.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Proven leadership experience within a similar field

Desired Qualifications

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve goals.

  • Experience within a regulated environment

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify root causes and develop effective solutions.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Knowledge of good manufacturing practices within FMCG/Selfcare manufacturing environment

  • Lean/Yellow/Green belt Six Sigma certified with a proven track record of implementing Lean practices and Six Sigma in supply chain processes

  • Proven knowledge in continuous improvement methodologies, lean manufacturing/logistics, six sigma, design thinking, kaizen, root cause problem solving

  • Experience in process design as well as standards/procedures definition

  • Excellent verbal and communication skills, ability to work as a team, and proven experience in change management and resilience

  • E2E mindset and collaborative approach, integrity and Credo-based Action
