Role reports to: Global Director - Packaging Operations and Supplier Excellence
Location: Skillman, NJ (Kenvue's corporate headquarters is currently located in Skillman NJ, but is scheduled to move to Summit, NJ in or around early 2025.)
Travel : 10%
Pay: $ 59,500 - 80,500

What you will do
We are seeking a strategic-minded professional to join our Research and Development Packaging team as the Packaging Operations Coordinator. The role will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end technical readiness efforts across the Global Packaging ecosystem internally and externally. The ideal candidate will have experience in the personal care industry in a packaging role (testing, engineering, development).

Support packaging test methods optimization and digitized process enhancements
Create and enhance technical documents (i.e. packaging policies, corporate specifications, SOP's etc.) across regions ensuring adherence to established standards and timelines.
Support creation of consumer fit-for-purpose test methods and modernized Packaging Developmental labs infrastructure geared towards discovery and accelerated consumer use.
Collect packaging performance metrics and create scorecards, supporting Right the First Time (RFT) goals.
Track progress updates on Packaging led initiatives and maintain cadence of update meetings with Head of Global Packaging and initiative leaders to demonstrate progress and review critical path schedule and follow-through
Support the creation of Technical training programs to enhance the capabilities of the global Packaging team
Conduct packaging spec audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop programs for continuous improvement
Support global budget reporting
Create presentations to communicate data and results to cross-functional teams

What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Packaging/Plastics/Mechanical Engineering or related field
0-2 years of experience in packaging operations (testing, engineering, development etc.)
Comprehensive knowledge of test methods and SOP's
Basic knowledge of packaging processes (injection molding, extrusion, blow molding), materials, and quality standards
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Desired Qualifications
LEAN manufacturing experience - Preferred
Experience in the personal care industry preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a global team

What's in it for you
Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $59.500 to $80,500 This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate's skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
