Job Summary

  • The Revenue Recovery Specialist is responsible for follow up of unpaid accounts; review, resolution and analysis of credit balance accounts as well as follow up and appeals of denied claims.

  • Responsible to handle claims billing after claims are denied, as well as corrected claims and secondary billing.

  • Required to handle communications and follow up related to unpaid claims and insurance appeals.

  • Track and monitor appeals for reporting purposes, reconcile accounts involving reimbursement adjustments and provide regular feedback to the Revenue Recovery Supervisor and Manager.

Education and/or Experience

  • HS Diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

  • One to two years related experience preferred.

Work Schedule

  • Monday-Friday; 80hrs/2wks

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

  • $19.25 - $24.25 per hour
