Job Summary

The HIM Specialist, ROI is responsible for the release of information (ROI) process. This includes, but is not limited to, processing ROI requests, handling different types of media, and the utilization of HIM systems to disseminate health records. The position requires a strong customer service mentality and ability to deal with different types of internal and external stakeholders.

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.

  • One year of previous health information management experience is preferred.

Work Schedule

  • Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm; 80 hours every 2 weeks

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

  • $17.50 - $22.00 per hour
