Job Summary
The Patient Care Technician is responsible for effectively reprocessing for all types of reusable endoscopes and accessories used in procedural area. Performs duties relative to patient care under the direct guidance of a Registered Nurse and/or Lead Patient Care Technician. Responsible for collecting diagnostic data and assisting nursing personnel in providing patient care in their assigned area, and performing secretary duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
This position requires you to be 16 years of age or older.
On-the-job training provided. Medical terminology knowledge is preferred.
Certification/Licensure/Registrations
- Nursing assistant certification preferred, but not required.
Work Schedule
Varied Shifts, Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm, occas wknd/hol/call-time; 72hrs/2wks
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
- $17.50 - $23.00 per hour
