We're seeking a strategic Warehouse Manager to join our growing team and revolutionize the way we fulfill cloud computing hardware and infrastructure. In this role, you'll be a key decision-maker, applying your expertise in supply chain management and project management to optimize our logistics processes. You'll leverage automation and data analysis to develop innovative solutions that enhance efficiency, reduce transit times, and empower our global fulfillment network.

Key job responsibilities

• Analyze current logistics processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost reduction, and transit times.

• Design and implement strategic initiatives to optimize the cloud hardware and infrastructure fulfillment supply chain, leveraging automation.

• Develop data-driven recommendations to improve logistics strategies based on identified trends and insights.

• Translate data analysis into actionable business strategies for streamlining transportation processes.

• Orchestrate the strategic execution of daily transportation operations, ensuring optimal efficiency and adherence to the highest quality standards for customer fulfillment.

A day in the life

You'll be a strategic problem-solver, leveraging data and automation to optimize how we deliver cloud hardware and infrastructure. Your day-to-day will be a blend of:

  • Strategic Planning: Analyze current processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost, and speed.

  • Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams (internal & external) to implement best practices and innovative fulfillment solutions.

  • Data Analysis & Communication: Translate complex logistics data into actionable strategies.

You'll be solving problems for:

  • Supply Managers, Manufacturing, Hardware Engineering, Data Centers, Cloud Service Providers

  • Spearhead the escalation process for critical cloud hardware and infrastructure shipments.

Amazon Cloud Logistics (ACL) APAC's First Mile (FM) transport team is responsible for the movement of component shipments from Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to vendor managed inventory (VMI) warehouses or Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs), as well as the managed transportation of Snowball, PAC, and Spares. FM transport operations include transportation planning, pre-pick up, and on-time delivery.

Basic Qualifications

  • Min. 5+ years of years of relevant work experience in logistics, planning, manufacturing, finance or related field

  • Proficiency with data forecasting and analysis (min. Advanced Excel)

  • Experienced in managing large and complicated projects and leading cross-functional projects

  • Experienced in coordinating with multiple global and cross functional teams to achieve goals

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA qualification in logistics, supply chain, operations or related field

  • Strategic Planning: Analyze current processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost, and speed.

  • Data Analysis & Communication: Translate complex logistics data into actionable strategies.

  • Experienced in creating and implementing annual operational plans
