IBM SAP S/4 HANA Supply Chain Management (SCM) Lead in Singapore, Singapore

Introduction

As a Package Consultant at IBM, get ready to tackle numerous mission-critical company directives. Our team takes on the challenge of designing, developing and re-engineering highly complex application components and integrating software packages using various tools. You will use a mix of consultative skills, business knowledge, and technical expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into our clients' business environment and achieve business results.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Pre-Sales & Solution Design:

  • Collaborate with the Sales and Pre-Sales teams to understand client requirements and translate them into compelling technical solutions showcasing the capabilities of SAP S/4 HANA SCM (IBP, SD, MM) to address specific supply chain challenges.

  • Participate in high-level solution architecture discussions, outlining the approach to configure IBP, SD, and MM modules for scalability and future growth.

  • Actively contribute to crafting winning proposals that demonstrate the value proposition of SAP S/4 HANA for SCM functionalities.

  • Must have strong industry experience in CPG/F&B/FMCG/Automotive/General Manufacturing/Retail.

Implementation:

  • Lead the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of IBP (Primary) , SD, and MM modules within SAP S/4 HANA.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, prepare blueprint documents, translate them into technical specifications for developments where needed, and ensure configurations align with desired business outcomes.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to guarantee seamless functionality within IBP, SD, and MM, and their integration with other SAP modules.

  • Lead a team of SAP SCM consultants, providing guidance, mentoring, and ensuring efficient task execution.

  • Proactively identify and resolve any technical issues related to SCM functionalities.

  • Develop and deliver training materials and workshops to equip end-users with the skills to navigate and utilize the new SAP S/4 HANA SCM system effectively.

  • Provide ongoing support to users during the transition, addressing their questions and concerns.

  • Implement a change management plan to ensure user adoption and minimize disruption.

  • Maintain clear and concise documentation of all configurations, processes, and best practices within the SCM modules.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in SAP implementations, with in-depth knowledge of S/4 HANA, and IBP.

  • Proven expertise in designing, configuring, testing, and deploying IBP & SD, and MM modules within SAP S/4 HANA.

  • Strong understanding of supply chain management processes and best practices.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

  • Proven ability to effectively train and mentor others.

  • Experience participating in pre-sales activities and solution design for SAP S/4 HANA SCM.
