Caterpillar currently has an opportunity for a Sales Coordinator in Singapore. The position is responsible to deliver and enhance customer satisfaction by assisting customers with enquiry, orders and the timely receipt of product whilst also driving incremental sales with the assigned customer base.

What You Will Do:

• Provide technical information, entering, and expediting orders whilst handling customer problems with professionalism and diplomacy to deliver an exceptional Customer Experience

• Perform sales support function, e.g., handling customer enquiries, quotations, processing customers’ orders, generating CIPL, invoices, and arranging logistics

• Report Sales data / Enquiries and pipeline activity weekly

• Coordinate and collaborate with HQ and regions on parts availability, supply chain, operations and quality teams

• Follow up sales enquiries and attend to after-sales support requests from customers ensuring customers’ expectations are met, e.g., material certificates, delivery issues and shortages

• Update all relevant data in Syteline to allow statistical data to be accurately tracked

• Produce statistical data and improvement plans where required and report at weekly management meetings

• Deal with Rental and Refurb contracts in conjunction with Sales team

• Manage monthly rental asset movement and ensure accurate data are tracked and process invoices

• Establish active communication and engagement with sales representatives to ensure that orders are processed promptly

• Handle import and export shipping requirement and arrangements

• Monitor and organize inventory while effectively tracking new services and products for sale

• Maintain accurate inventory record and coordinate with inventory planning

• Coordinate delivery schedule and ensure timely delivery of goods to customer achieving >95% OTD

• Participate in Continuous improvement, Safety initiatives required

• Ensure personal compliance with all Health, Safety policies and company procedures

• Employee is also responsible for performing other job duties as assigned by supervisor from time to time
