We are hiring a Regional Marketing Manager who dares to Invent and Simplify and Think big! He/She will be responsible for building regional marketing infrastructure from scratch in a start-up like environment for Amazon Advertising in Asia.

We are seeking a dynamic Regional Marketing Manager to join our team, focusing on Amazon Ads Marketing in the rapidly expanding Asia Growth Markets, including Korea, Vietnam, Singapore, and Taiwan. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive end-to-end leadership across various aspects of Amazon Ads content marketing, particularly our flagship edu-social program "Amazon Explained." Key responsibilities include edu-social content marketing, partnership initiatives, go-to-market execution, and marketing analytics.

To this end we are building a range of advertising products that enhance the customer experience and are integrated with our core eCommerce platform. We have developed products that leverage Amazon’s strength as a world class eCommerce platform and have integrated advertising into the shopping experience from first discovery to purchase.

A strategic part of our charter is to build a portfolio of self-service advertising products to enable both large and small advertisers to engage with customers in relevant ways. Our growing team in Asia drives awareness, activation and engagement for Asia-based sellers advertising in the rest of the world, including North America, Europe and Japan. More and more Asia sellers are looking to build their brands globally via Amazon’s brand-building ad products (e.g., Sponsored Brand, Stores).

Seeing the potential, we are now seeking a Regional Marketing Manager to join our team to build regional marketing infrastructure, and create edu-social campaigns/strategies to drive the awareness and adoption of Amazon’s brand-building ad products.

Key job responsibilities

  1. Content Marketing:
  • Develop engaging and effective educational social content strategies and video content tailored to cross-border SMB sellers in Korea, Vietnam, Singapore, and Taiwan.

  • Goal: Boost awareness, trust, and know-how in utilizing Amazon Ads.

  • Key KPIs: Video completion rate, social engagement, and incremental actions from cross-border SMB sellers.

  1. Partnership Initiatives:
  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with third-party channels such as popular social channels, sellers, community leaders, influencers, and the service provider network to enhance Amazon Ads visibility and reach.

  • Collaborate with external partners to develop joint content creation and promotions.

  1. Go-To-Market (GTM) Execution:
  • Partner with local teams and external media/influencer/digital agencies to execute GTM strategies for content launches and amplifications.

  • Monitor GTM performance, gather insights via surveys and drive continuous improvement with channel owners and agency partners.

  1. Marketing Analytics:
  • Utilize data-driven insights to analyze campaign performance, customer behavior, and market trends.

  • Generate regular reports and dashboards to track key metrics and KPIs.

  1. Marketing Operations:
  • Support day-to-day marketing operations, including budget management, project coordination, and vendor management.

  • Assist in developing and maintaining marketing tools, templates, and processes.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • Experience with marketing strategies in online and mobile channels

  • Startup experience, or building from scratch in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion

  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data

  • Fluency in English and proficiency in one or more Asia Growth Markets languages (Korean, Vietnamese, Taiwanese/Traditional Chinese) highly preferred
