The Regional Commercial Operations Leader for Diagnostics SE Asia will be responsible for managing the entire Order to cash processes for Dx Opcos in the Region; owning the end-to-end process of tracking the sales funnel and operational metrics and delivering regular insights to the business to enable scaling up current business and driving profitable growth of $200M+. She/He will develop and execute a Commercial Operations & Technical Support strategy for the Diagnostics Platform with focus on Customer fulfilment and commercial excellence.

Initially, the role will focus on accelerating growth and managing commercial operations for all the Diagnostics businesses except Beckman Coulter Dx business. Eventually the role will be encompassing all DX platform companies.

Specific duties include but are not limited to:

  • Design, implement and manage the order to cash processes for Dx Opcos in the Region : from Customer Master creation, order booking, Contract creation & administration, shipment coordination, proforma invoicing and collections.

  • Be a key partner to the SE Asia in-country Sales & Service Heads in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand & Vietnam, helping refine our Sales Process and strategy and extending it to ensure an enhanced Customer Experience

  • Responsible for maintaining excellent service levels to external and internal customers. Work closely with Sales and Service teams to ensure that quality support is extended to the customer with all aspects of order execution.

  • Appoint, manage existing / new Third party logistics providers across the Region to ensure seamless movement of goods & services.

  • Collect & validate PSI information; Facilitate / drive sales forecasting process;

  • Set up, manage and drive Growth rooms for Dx Opcos in the Region

  • Be responsible for sales enablement activities such as maintaining pricing structures, Data analytics & sales analysis, Customer data creation & management, CRM Upkeep and sales training activities

  • Develop, train and retain a committed team of professionals with right expertise, client focus, results drive and accountability to deliver high quality output and the right client experiences

  • Responsible via the local teams, for timely resolution of customer complaints and subsequent feedback and analysis. Continually identifies areas of process improvement, drives and facilitates changes, gaining user consensus for changes.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Leadership experience in setting up scalable commercial operations and technical support function for the Region and delivering on Customer fulfilment metrics.

  • Deep experience and familiarity with creating & implementing successful sales processes, CRM tools and/or other sales enablement platforms.

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills; Ability to analyze complicated issues and boil down to the key points, communicate effectively, influence development of action plans working through Dx Opco leaders and bring to a successful conclusion.

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and executive presence with an ability to work with people at multiple levels both inside and outside of Danaher; Can quickly build strong relationships and quickly establish significant credibility, trust, and support (i.e., Customers, peers, subordinates, and senior management) as well as developing strong followership within the commercial organization.

  • Strong negotiation and commercial skills; can support team and work at high levels within customer decision making unit to negotiate complex deals which are profitable to the company and in line with revenue and margin objectives.

  • A minimum of 15 +years of leading & growing $200M+ business in Singapore / SE Asia Region with multiple BU / product lines.
