Eaton Corporation Product Specialist, CPC, East Asia in Singapore, Singapore

What you’ll do:

"The candidate is part of the offer marketing team of Circuit Protection and Control (CPC) products in Eaton East Asia region, with primary focus in Industrial Control Products (ICPD) offering. He/She acts as sales support to assigned East Asia countries and is required to have strong product knowledge, commercial acumen and strategy mindset. ICPD offerings include starters and contactors, pushbutton and signaling devices, VFDs, relays, sensors, PLC, etc.; He/She is reporting to Product Manager for CPC East Asia, and is required to work closely with country sales team and align to vertical business unit in Asia Pacific and Global Product line.

"A. To provide technical support to the sales teams and customers, as a trusted adviser on product selection and application.

B. To empower the country sales team to achieve profitable growth on identifying the right product offering, establishing right price positioning, obtaining necessary certification, making effective promotion plans and implementing specific marketing actions, etc.

C. To define and implement Industrial Control Products (ICPD) marketing strategies in East Asia region, manage product portfolio, develop marketing road map, manage price strategy so as to maximize volume and margin.

D. To equip country sales team the right product knowledge and prescription competencies, to influence customer decision making, to penetrate and grow ICPD products market share in East Asia region.

E. To conduct market study to identify customer needs, market trend, and competitive landscape.

F. Together with the country, to build and agree on a long-term strategic growth & action plan, shared ambition and means to achieve it.

G. To develop and deploy strategies to enter new markets and to grow market share in existing markets including customer Value Propositions.

H. To lead and co-ordinate together with the East Asia countries to animate new product offers and achieve incremental growth.

I. To keep track of market intelligence and provide feedback to manufacturing plans, APAC vertical Business Units and Global product lines about EA market specific product requirements and price positioning.

J. To be committed & responsible for Quality Management System:

a. Implement the process approach and risk-based thinking

b. Provide the necessary support to fully implement and sustain the QMS

c. Communicating to the organization the importance of conforming to QMS requirements

d. Ensuring the QMS meets its goals

e. Engage, direct, and support individuals contributing to the QMS

f. Create a culture of continuous improvement"

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

5 years

Skills:

Product management or sales experience with low voltage circuit protection or industrial control products is preferable

B. Self-motivated.
