About the role

  • The Regional Pricing Director plays a critical role in managing and optimizing pricing strategies within a specific geographic region. Their primary responsibility is to develop and implement pricing strategies that align with the company's overall objectives and market conditions. Cross-functional collaboration is essential to ensure that pricing strategies are cohesive and well-communicated throughout the organization. Additionally, the Regional Pricing Director provides guidance and support to sales teams on pricing-related matters. They address customer inquiries and concerns regarding pricing policies and decisions, ensuring that customer satisfaction is maintained while upholding the company’s pricing strategy. The Regional Pricing Director continuously seeks out innovative pricing strategies and tools, implementing process improvements to enhance pricing efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Overall, the Regional Pricing Director ensures that pricing strategies drive revenue growth, profitability, and competitive advantage while maintaining compliance and supporting cross-functional collaboration."

    Key responsibilities include

  • Drives implementation of supporting pricing strategies across the organization, working across business units and geographies

  • Translates Pricing Strategies into specific initiatives to drive implementation and execution

  • Ensures pricing strategies are tied to business strategies (and profitability drivers) and aligned with the overall pricing strategy

  • Develops, communicates and monitors price recommendations and guardrails for deals and products by performing basic pricing analysis or leveraging and synthesizing advanced analytics of internal and external intelligence

  • Analyzes the current business and competitive environment to identify opportunities to drive revenue and profit increases

  • Develops, implements and maintains pricing programs designed to enhance revenue and margin

  • Develop, implement, and promote best practice standards to Pricing Process and deep analytic expertise

  • Leads pricing team, ensuring deep expertise and coordination with business, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Digital, and Legal leadership

  • Provides leadership and project management, ensuring initiatives are delivered on-time and deliver the target benefits

  • Support team in process quality activities by educating, coaching and mentoring others on process improvement philosophy, tools and application, sharing best practices

  • Lead in the creation of measurable performance metrics, reporting and improvement targets for pricing

  • Part of Regional Leadership Team

  • Managing a team

  • Travel requirements: 10%

    About you

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, Business Administration or similar

  • Fluent in English

  • At least 8 years of experience in Finance, Commercial or Pricing, of which 4 years in Pricing

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (lookup, index-match, pivot tables, etc.)

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment is highly desired

  • You have relevant skills in SAP

  • Ability to manage multiple projects with efficiency and effectiveness, and complete projects with a high level of accuracy

  • Ability to effectively work with, and influence, senior (SVP+) business and functional leaders

  • Very strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and a can-do attitude

  • Enthusiastic team member with a willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing business demands and priorities

  • Customer-oriented and strategically and conceptually thinking
