Main responsibilities:

The DELIVER organization strives to deliver an exceptional customer experience through leading critical customer-facing functions such as planning, distribution, customer service, logistics, and transportation across the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies.

This role supports Johnson & Johnson, MedTech and manages a complex network of Distribution centers (DCs) and Customer Service centers across Asia-Pacific supporting multiple distribution channels to J&J’s broad range of customers. We are continually reviewing our network and consolidating our footprint while driving best-in-class planning & distribution operations while leveraging third-party logistics providers.

Purpose of Position

  • Overseeing the coordination, deployment, and implementation of assigned Business Excellence projects/systems from conception to completion in collaboration with functional departments to successfully develop and assure implementation, definition and diffusion of objectives, strategies, actions (tactics) plans, and its execution.

  • Build operational excellence mindset across the organization.

  • Project Manage and drive operational productivity, efficiency, and cost improvement through KPI governance, process change, Lean, Six Sigma

Key responsibilities:

  • Drive strong end to end project management governance for strategic initiatives and programs for APAC region to drive operational excellence, deploy new capabilities and implement cost improvement initiatives.

  • Develop business cases & strategic initiatives implementation strategy, maintain and update the overall complete project plan ensuring that all milestones and tasks are being adhered to ultimately leading to successful implementation.

  • Influence & coordinate internal cross-functional internal and external stakeholders at the global, regional and local level as well as 3PL and consultant partners where applicable to ensure alignment and successful implementation.

  • Deploy the strategic team communication matrix to ensure the appropriate communication plans and channels are effective & efficient between all levels of the program and project teams.

  • Monitor and ensure all risks are being communicated transparently to the project team so that appropriate escalation can take place when required.

  • Provide support and guidance to the entire project team to deliver on their specific objectives and milestones.

  • Develop playbook for new capability deployment and ensure knowledge sharing from global and other regions.

  • Incorporate Flawless Project Execution (FPX) methodologies across all aspects of the project to drive flawless execution.

  • Develop business cases and lead long-term business planning including roadmap for key strategic initiatives, long-range financial planning and regular financial updates.

  • Support additional analysis/assessments to identify improvement opportunities and quantify benefits.

  • Execute/Support LEAN in Deliver sites: Preparation, Onboarding, Diagnostic, Design, Plan & Implement on Regional basis:

o Lead Full-Scale transformations.

o Support Field & Forum implementations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management & Operations, advanced degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience across various disciplines such as: Warehousing, Distribution, Logistics, Operations, Supply Chain, planning, & Customer Service.

  • Experience or deep understanding of the various aspects of (Warehouse, Transportation, Customer Service,) and Supply Chain excellence standards.

  • Strong business acumen , ability to analyze financial and transactional data, develop insights , build business cases , influence stakeholders through a deep understanding of the end-to-end supply chain. Proven experience with data analytics to identify insights.

  • Strong experience/understanding of process design, standards definition and implementation.

  • Strong Customer orientation, self-motivated, self-driven and behaves pro-actively .

  • Proven track record of implementation, execution and results driven.

  • Experience working in an international function and matrix environment. Proven ability to work effectively in a highly complex & dynamic environment.

  • Experience in building operational and supply chain planning efficiencies.

  • Expertise in process design and standards definition.

  • LEAN/6-Sigma experience and qualifications. Green Belt six-sigma / Black Belt preferred.

  • Proven track record of developing and building, leading , managing, motivating & influencing diverse, high-performance teams with a strong sense of mission.

  • Ability to promote a vision and drive change to transform organizations via strong engagement/communication. Proficient written and verbal communication skills .

  • Ability to collaborate and build strong partnerships internally and externally with customer focus. Strong people management skills and ability to persuade and influence others

  • Experienced & qualified in Project Management . Proven experience in managing large scale projects / programs.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
