Johnson Controls Senior HR Business Partner in Singapore, Singapore

Job Description

What you will do:

  • Deliver HR support to business leaders and employees to drive talent management excellence, implement talent strategy and initiatives to enhance employee engagement and leader effectiveness.

  • Integrate, standardize, fine tune existing HR operational processes and align delivery model to ensure optimum support to business leaders and employees.

  • Partner with across HR teams and Business Leaders in driving the delivery of the people strategy and agenda to enable the business growth aspiration.

How you will do it

  • Manage the process of the employee life cycle: induction, re-employment and exit interviews.

  • Deliver HR activities (employee engagement surveys, performance appraisal cycle, incentives plan) in conjunction with the COEs as needed

  • Partner business leaders on workforce planning to achieve the business goals.

  • Manage talent planning, talent reviews, and talent development.

  • Partner the line managers to drive high performance culture.

  • Provide local consultation, guidance, and support for managers on performance, development, engagement, and other HR initiatives.

  • Collaborate with HR COEs - Shared Services Centre, Total Reward and other stakeholders to provide integrated HR solutions to the business needs.

  • Provide advice on the interpretation of HR policies and employment legislations.

  • Leads investigation activities, advise, and implement on remediation actions where applicable.

  • Lead/Participate in HR projects to drive continuous improvement and relevancy.

  • Act as Singapore Focal point for policy and benefits; and work with cross HR COE to operationalize the Singapore policy.

What we look for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.

  • Minimum 5 years’ HR Generalist experience, preferably in talent management, compensation & Benefits; employee engagement and labor relations.

  • Experience working in a matrix organization and familiar with HR Tier Services Model.

  • Good knowledge of Singapore’s employment laws and guidelines

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to handle complexity and ambiguity with a positive outlook
