Hilton Cluster Sales Manager - Corporate in Singapore, Singapore

Overview of Role

A Cluster Sales Manager - Corporate with Conrad Hotels and Resorts manages designated corporate accounts, to develop and solicit new business - driving total hotel revenue – rooms, catering and F&B outlets.

What will I be doing?

Cluster Sales Manager - Corporate will assists the Cluster Director of Sales & Cluster Assistant Director of Sales oversees and directs all aspects of the negotiation and coordination process as well as the successful handling of Corporate segmentations as assigned. This role leads the Sales team to ensure smooth operation of the department to maximize business opportunities and deliver the highest service standards. You will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Provide total account management to assigned corporate portfolio to maintain and develop existing and new business opportunities for the hotel, thereby increasing market share of existing accounts to achieve hotel budget and incentive plan.
  • Maintains a high level of exposure for the hotel through direct sales calls, telesales calls and written communication to existing and prospective accounts to solicit business, engage sales activities, and provide sales proposals and other external sales presentations.
  • Conduct Conrad Journey (site inspections) and host as entertainment for potential clients where relevant and appropriate.
  • Answer client queries in a prompt and professional manner
  • To establish and engage working relationship with Hilton Worldwide Sales offices.
  • To identify new corporate clients from Hotelligence to maximize sales potential.
  • To maintain proper Hilton data entry standards for Account Management database using Delphi.fdc system.
  • To ensure proper rate loading entry standards in OnQPM
  • Provide weekly submission of sales call plan and sales call activity report via Delphi.fdc
  • Maintain a comprehensive and updated Account Development Plan based on portfolio assigned.
  • Timely submission of proposals, corporate rate agreement and RFPs.
  • To keep up to date with market trends, market conditions and competitor developments and customer performance.
  • Address and resolves any issues or complaints from clients.
  • Attend hotel / departmental meetings and other scheduled meetings or hotel events to support business operations, such as daily morning briefings, Business Development meetings, lateral service, etc.
  • Conduct “Bring Back Old Business” and repeat calls to increase demand and overall revenue.
  • Submit sales activities to ADOS/DOS on a weekly basis, achieving the minimum number of activities per week.
  • Ensure that sales call plans are submitted on weekly basis the week prior to ADOS/DOS.
  • Work closely with Cluster Assistant Director of Sales / Cluster Director of Sales to design and implement strategic business plans; identify emer ging markets and market shifts.
  • Support Cluster Assistant Director of Sales / Cluster Director of Sales in coaching and performance monitoring of Cluster Sales Manager / Cluster Sales Executive.
  • Cooperate with other departments in the hotel to create an exceptional Guest experience.
  • Any additional tasks assigned by the Cluster Director of Sales or Cluster Commercial Director
