Objectives:

  • Develop and increase Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) and Polyurethane (PU) sales to achieve Singapore operational plan (OP).

  • Align customers’ strategies and execute activities to achieve mid and long-term objectives of the business unit in line with the company Code of Conduct principles.

  • Responsible for key accounts businesses through enhancing key stakeholders’ relationship and developing new business opportunities.

  • Hunt for new sales leads and drive profitable and sustainable business growth through value pricing. Lead customer contracts, business cases and product requirements.

Responsibilities:

Sales Management

  • Drive sales volume and margin growth to achieve operational plan (OP).

  • Provide sales forecast for raw materials planning.

  • Build business relationship with customers’ key stakeholders enhancing customers’ satisfaction and business growth.

  • Prompt feedback to customers’ inquiries, quality, and technical related requests.

  • Support oversea transplant business and customers’ localization request.

  • Collaboration with internal cross function team (Business Management, Product Management, Commercial Management, Technical Development and Supply Chain Management) to fulfil customers’ requests.

Hunt for New Opportunities and Application Development

  • Develop new businesses, new customers, and new projects.

  • Having in-depth understanding of customers’ needs to recommend suitable solution.

  • Implement pricing strategy and support launch of new products at key customers.

  • Organize customers’ Seminar and Technical Workshop and generate new business leads.

  • Perform analysis of market trend, competitors, and new products’ applications.

  • Update new projects acquisition and commercialization in Salesforce.

Credit Management

  • Review customers’ financial health and business performance. Align credit term with finance/controlling team.

  • Monitor customers prompt payment and no overdue.

Key Account Management

  • Align customers’ strategies with Global Key Account (GKA)/Regional Key Account (RKA) to support key accounts locally.

  • Responsible for all local projects development and align pricing strategies with GKA/RKA.

  • Enhances relationship with key stakeholders to drive business growth.

  • Prepare key account plan aligned with GKA/RKA.

  • Align operational plan (Volume, Net Sales).

  • Communicate competition activities and strategies to GKA/RKA.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Polymer Science / Business Administration / Marketing or equivalent

  • Minimum 5 years of commercial or technical experience preferably in TPU, PU, chemical related.

  • Polymer technical background and experience is preferred.

  • Good communication skills and stakeholder management.

  • Strong networking and relationship building skills.

  • Independent and able to work under minimal supervision.

  • Possess Class 3 driving license and vehicle is preferred to meet clients.

  • Willing to travel within Singapore, Malaysia and Batam region.
