Amazon APJ GTM Spec Ops Lead, Global Sales Operations in Singapore, Singapore

WWSO Strategy & Operations team is seeking a Specialist GTM Strategy and Operations (SGSO) lead within the Sales Strategy and Operations team supporting the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) in Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ). Within the AWS SMGS organization, the Sales Strategy and Operations team is responsible for supporting Leadership, Sales, and Operational teams in achieving organizational objectives and driving continuous improvements in field productivity.

This role will be a member of the SGSO team to develop, implement and evolve mechanisms, processes and initiatives to support APJ annual GTM plans, business insights and performance management cadences to meet organizational goals. The ideal candidate has broad analytical skills and business acumen, deep sales strategy experience, a curious mindset, ability to manage and prioritize in a complex, large, matrixed and ambiguous environment, as well as a demonstrated ability to influence without explicit authority.

The successful candidate must be able to roll-up their sleeves, and work directly with the models/data. The individual will help drive towards simple, scalable solutions to difficult problems, have excellent project-management skills, and be able to communicate complex analytical results, both written and verbally, in a clear and easy-to-understand way. This role will hold a variety of responsibilities ranging from day-to-day operations, to delivering business insights and recommendations, to driving APJ wide planning activities, to leading initiatives focused on process improvement and organization efficiency.

Key job responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to Specialist leadership and operations, leveraging business acumen, data and analyses to develop APJ mechanisms and guidance

  • Manage APJ Specialists mechanisms across Annual Planning, Rhythm of the Business (e.g. Monthly Business Reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews), Business Insights, and Operational Enablement.

  • Develop and execute implementation, change management, communication and enablement plans for annual planning, GTM plan reviews, and management cadences.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ascertain business needs, and to drive standardization, prioritization, automation of metrics, and reporting.

  • Support and deliver on other ad-hoc requests, projects, initiatives, and/or analysis, as needed

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

  • Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software

  • Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within a high-growth, technology company

  • Exhibits sound business judgment, a proven ability to influence others, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of taking ownership, leading data-driven analyses, and influencing results

  • Able to operate successfully in a lean, fast-paced organization, and to create a vision and organization that can scale quickly

  • Deep experience in prioritization of deliverables and tasks

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
