Summary

The Contracts Administrator I, Associate provides administrative support to the Contracts Department. Performs Contracts and Order entry tasks in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) systems. Attention to detail and time management is key in this role.

Position Responsibilities

  • Performs a wide variety of administrative functions required to support the Contracts business area that include, but are not limited to:

  • Tracking contract authorizations and correspondence

  • Interfacing with several cross-functional team members to obtain information.

  • Maintaining detailed and organized contract files

  • Prepare contract brief and modification packages for internal processing

  • Preparing contract change notices

  • Reviewing data deliverables for Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) submission.

  • Work with Data Management for submission of CDRLs to customer as directed.

  • Receive and Verify documentation required for GSI/CSI, internal QA and shipping

  • Loading IUIDs as required per contract into PIEE

  • Prepare all ‘Move to ship’ packages and coordinate per contract requirements

  • Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is required

  • Minimum 2 – 4 years direct relevant experience with high volume data entry in ERP systems (Oracle is highly desired) or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

  • Experienced in managing simultaneous projects and meeting deadlines

  • Experienced and proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Adobe Acrobat as well as basic computer skills

  • Demonstrated proficiency in shifting priorities

Other Qualifications & Desired Competencies

  • Associate degree or higher is preferred

  • Prior experience in an aerospace/defense/government contracting environment is preferred

  • Demonstrates willingness and competency in learning multiple software programs

  • Skilled at multi-tasking and prioritization of workload with a strong attention to detail

  • Demonstrates personal initiative and ability to work independently yet be a team player

  • Consistently supports and aids multiple partners, managers and peers at any given time

  • Demonstrates high organizational skills and conducts business in a professional manner

  • Process-oriented, results and deadline-driven

  • Able to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, where small teams share a broad variety of duties

  • Displays strong initiative and drive to accomplish goals and meet company objectives

  • Takes ownership and responsibility for current and past work products

  • Is committed to learning from mistakes and driven to improve and enhance performance of oneself, others, and the company

  • Focuses on teamwork and puts the success of the team above one's own interests

Physical Demands

  • Ability to work in an office environment (Constant)

  • Required to sit and stand for long periods; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard (Frequent)

The salary range for this role is:

$23 - $32
