Sulphur Springs Valley Electric Cooperative (SSVEC) is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to join our team. SSVEC is seeking applicants to fill the position of Human Resources Generalist. This role is integral to our HR team, ensuring the smooth and effective management of daily HR operations and contributing to the overall success of our cooperative.

The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for managing various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with employment laws. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional who can support our HR initiatives and foster a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, onboarding, and developing effective recruitment strategies.
• Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and resolution.
• Foster a positive work environment by promoting effective communication and employee engagement initiatives.
• Support the performance review process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and employee development plans.
• Maintain knowledge of current employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Coordinate and assist in facilitating training programs for employees.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in the HRIS.
• Assist with special HR projects and initiatives as needed.
