If you are an experienced Product/Program Manager looking for a challenge, we have an opportunity for you! As a Product/Program Manager, you will be a key element of the Copeland Residential Air Conditioning segment of the HVACR Technologies business by driving strategic results and leading cross-functional teams. Our team analyzes industry trends, product portfolios, internal processes, and organizational performance to help guide product strategy. Your analysis and recommendations will help leadership anticipate and address problem areas to ultimately drive growth and profitability. AS A PRODUCT/PROGRAM MANAGER, YOU WILL:
Own product and portfolio strategies:
Align product roadmaps with the evolving market, industry, and regulatory dynamics
Lead product lifecycles, including obsolescence efforts
Support Sales and customers and ensure queries or issues related to application, sampling, performance, and operational aspects are run to drive customer engagement and partnership
Supervise and guide innovation activities
Evaluate and guide the organization on new business opportunities and the value proposition for new products
Understand strategic and competitive gaps while steering decisions to address these
Support sustaining and ramp-up of new products post-launch
Monitor and identify, communicate and implement initiatives to increase profitability
Drive new product and program initiatives:
Lead cross-functional program teams that consist of engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, operations, finance, and other key business functions. Establish and ensure all team members work towards a clear and common goal during the life of the program.
Own schedules, customer deliverables, and key events related to new product development
Lead all program collaborators and broker cross-functional decisions
Run the project scope, expected profitability and business case, and product specifications
Use standard processes for new program management:
Report out on key project important metrics and relevant resolution paths to senior management
Prepare organization and market for product launch – including authoring bulletins, crafting communication material and collateral for Sales and customers
Embody Copeland’s core values of collaboration, customer focus, and continuous improvement
Adopt LEAN as a mentality - create, refresh and guide business processes that support and improve Copeland’s operating model
Support, contribute, and participate in internal business reviews, customer reviews, and trade shows
Required Education, Experience & Skills:
Bachelor's degree required, plus five (5) years relevant experience or MBA with fewer years of experience
Outstanding communication skills - written, verbal, and presentation
Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to inspire and lead teams towards a common goal
Strong planning/project management skills with an ability to work with multiple customers to identify needs and develop appropriate action plans to meet these needs
Highly effective at leading technical teams and project meetings, utilizing planning, motivation, and communication skills to drive consensus and action

Preferred Education, Experience & Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in a technical field, plus 7-10 years of experience
MBA or equivalent business degree
HVAC industry experience a plus
Entrepreneurial, self-starter mindset with the ability to navigate through complex and ambiguous situations/assignments, initiate action, and follow through with well-defined solutions and action plans
Schedule:
We offer the flexibility of a core hour work schedule. Employees can flex their start and stop times given they are working during the core ours of 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. Our teams work together to ensure their chosen work schedules are supporting our customers.

Our newly renovated Sidney campus has 1M square feet of manufacturing floor with an additional 120k square feet of leading-edge lab facilities. This location is the headquarters for our HVACR Americas business unit. Through our many years of compressor expertise, our products help bring comfort and convenience to refrigeration, commercial, industrial, and residential spaces. Approximately 1600 employees work in Sidney, who all support a multitude of business functions.
