DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Strategic Planning Marketing Specialist to join our team specializing in Marketing in Shoreview, MN.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Market Research and Pricing Analysis : By preparing basic market research and pricing analyses, you’ll provide valuable insights that inform strategic marketing plans.
Data Presentation : Presenting data to your manager will facilitate informed discussions and interpretations, driving better decision-making.
Marketing Communication Plans : Collaborating with leaders to develop marketing communication plans and drafting communications will ensure clear and effective messaging.
Project Management Support : Providing project management support and keeping the team informed about plans, deadlines, and achievements will help maintain project momentum and success.
Learning and Supporting Marketing Roles : Observing and supporting the Marketing team on Value Package Introduction projects will enhance your understanding and contribute to team efforts.
Global Brand Strategy Alignment : Learning the global brand strategy and aligning your work products to it will ensure consistency and strengthen the brand’s presence.
Customer Satisfaction Data : Collecting and presenting customer satisfaction data will help identify areas for improvement and enhance customer experiences.
Cross-Regional Collaboration : Teaming with and collaborating across regions and business units will foster a unified approach and drive collective success.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Market Analysis : Research and analyze market information to expand your knowledge. Connect the dots and identify trends to create a coherent image of the market, and summarize insights to understand their impact on the business.
Marketing Plan Management : Develop marketing mix recommendations based on the 4 P’s (Product, Price, Promotion, and Placement) to meet customer needs and achieve business objectives. Guide cross-functional implementation and create a framework to evaluate market responses and performance.
Translating Market Data : Collect and categorize customer voices and market information using appropriate research tools. Analyze findings to identify opportunities for delivering customer solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
College, university, or equivalent degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or related subject required.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Minimal relevant work experience required.
Knowledge of and experience using the four P's of marketing (Product, Price, Promotion, and Placement) preferred.
Additional Responsibilities:
Support new engine related Pre-Program Planning (PPP) projects to ensure that we build robust long-term product strategies that aim to cover product gaps and market needs.
Develops and maintains process control frameworks to standardize marketing workflow for Americas Marketing Team
Support Long-Term Portfolio Strategy Creation and maintenance for Standby Applications Support segment marketing Leads/specialists to ensure relevant the product strategies are executed.
Support PowerGen Market Positions (PGMP) effort to create aligned market positions for Americas Standby Applications market.
Additional Experience/Skills:
Marketing, Engineering, business background.
PowerGen market and product knowledge. (preferred)
History of working and collaborating with engineers (preferred)
2-3 years of professional experience in Power Generation or Industrial Markets. (preferred)
Key leadership skills: Strategic thinking, managing ambiguity and uncertainty, driving alignment and constructively resolving conflict, leadership and stakeholder management and influence.
Please note that the salary range provided is a good faither estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience where appropriate.
