We are offering an exciting opportunity for a skilled Paralegal based in the St. Paul Suburbs. You will play an integral role in national financial services litigation and creditors' rights proceedings. This role involves managing and facilitating accurate communication between clients and local counsel, overseeing the bankruptcy process, and assisting with legal matters related to equipment repossessions and compliance. We are looking for an individual well-versed in financial services case management, drafting legal documents, efficient communication and assisting the attorneys in all steps of the litigation process. Your role will incorporate both administrative tasks as well as more intricate legal ones, therefore, a keen attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and the ability to work with competing priorities are crucial. Responsibilities:

• Support the attorneys in litigation, including drafting pleadings and other legal documents.

• Conduct legal research, fact-checking, and gathering relevant information and documentation to support the case.

• Assist in managing case files, developing case strategies, and coordinating case progress.

• Process incoming mail and emails from bankruptcy courts, opposing parties, and clients enrolled in the bankruptcy program

• Maintain legal pipelines and assess risks, escalating issues when necessary

• Facilitate the meeting of deadlines by keeping organized schedules and providing timely reminders.

• Communicate and coordinate with clients, other counsel, court personnel and others as necessary.

• Electronically filing documents with State Courts

• Monitor changes to government guidelines or regulations and submit reports on pertinent changes.

• Conduct basic financial analyses and draft financial reports as necessary.

  Requirements

• Preferred candidates will a Paralegal Degree or Certificate

• Preferred candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Paralegal

• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Case Management Software and Management Systems

• Knowledge of Bankruptcy and Creditor Representation processes

• Familiarity with District Court procedures and Electronic Filing systems

• Experience in Consumer and Commercial Collections preferred

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to balance multiple tasks and prioritize workload
