The Hazardous Waste and Toxics Reduction programwithin the Department of Ecology is looking to fill the *Section Manager for Hazardous Waste and Toxics Reduction NWRO (WMS 2) position. 

 

This position is located in our Northwest Region Office (NWRO) *in *Shoreline, WA{rel="nofollow"}.

 

Upon hire, you must live within a commutable distance from the duty station.

Please Note: *The salary posted above includes the additional 5% premium pay that this position will receive due to its location in [Shoreline, WA{rel="noopener" target="_blank"}]{.underline} in King County.     Are you interested in helping lead a team of environmental professionals protect Washington's environment and residents from harm? In this position, you will play a pivotal role guiding regional dangerous waste management throughout the Northwest region, leading staff who help businesses prevent pollution, reduce toxics production, clean up legacy contamination, and regulate waste management. *Program Mission: *The mission of the Hazardous Waste and Toxics Reduction program is to protect Washington's residents and environment by reducing the use of toxic chemicals, safely managing dangerous waste, preventing new contaminated sites, and cleaning up contamination.

Tele-work options for this position: *This position will have flexibility of a hybrid schedule, empowering work from home and office, providing less time in traffic and shrinking your carbon footprint.
