Stanley Black and Decker Video Editor in Shizheng Rd, Taiwan

Stanley Black & Decker is seeking a creative, organized, and motivated Video Editor to join our fast-growing Brand Content team. The candidate must have a strong sense of visual storytelling, timing and have the ability to take raw footage and create a compelling and concise video. This passionate individual should also be curious about trends in video content across online platforms, from social channels to youtube to ecommerce retailers as they create a range of engaging content for these channels.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent proficiency with Adobe Premiere and After effects

  • Editing: Cutting, splicing and synchronizing video. Working within existing brand templates and footage to create new arrangements

  • Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines

  • Excellent attention to detail to turn around video edits

  • Work with a wide range of digital camera formats and their respective file based workflows

  • Ingest media from a variety of formats, transcoding when necessary

  • Inserting music, sound, or on-screen graphics/text

  • Problem solving, communication, organization, and interpersonal skills are very important

  • File management and organization a must

  • After Effects/ Motion Graphic skills are a bonus.

  • Color Grading skills is a bonus.

  • Sound Design/Mix skills are a bonus

Education and Technical Requirements:

  • 4-year video production or film degree

  • 2+ years video editing experience with a post-production house or in-house marketing or advertising agency.

  • Proficiency in all applicable MAC software (Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office)

  • Proficiency in multimedia software; Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects and FrameIO.

  • Portfolio or reel with relevant work experience and examples required.
