Eaton Corporation Preventative Maintenance Coordinator - 2nd Shift in Sherman, Texas

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Preventative Maintenance Coordinator - 2nd Shift. This position will perform a variety of administrative tasks including (TPM/Operator care), (PM), database management, and scheduling, reporting, and tracking information for the maintenance department to improve facility uptime productivity. The rate for this position is $23.59 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. What you’ll do:

  • Establishes and maintains the Preventative Maintenance program

  • Delivers and/or picks up supplies when needed.

  • Records repair and preventative maintenance details into electronic systems

  • Maintain accurate records regarding preventive maintenance, service requests (received and completed), expenditures, apartment make-ready status, work-in-progress, etc.

  • Schedule and ensure all make-ready repairs and service are completed correctly and on schedule

  • Maintain adequate inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials to handle most common repairs and situations

  • Schedule and perform routine preventive maintenance

  • Ensure that unsafe conditions are corrected promptly

  • Take ownership and lead by example

  • Directs the Preventive Maintenance services operations, inventory, scheduling, and assignments.

  • Monitor’s status of work orders, estimates, requests, and purchases of materials and equipment.

  • Help prepare project cost estimates, scope of work

  • Provide technical expertise, assistance, and advice regarding Preventive Maintenance projects, and develop and present recommendations and reports as requested.

  • Performs other job-related duties as required.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.

  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future

  • Must be able to read and interpret parts breakdowns and manufacturer’s maintenance procedures, then convert them into proactive maintenance operations to ensure continuous production

  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Sherman, TX will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with preventive maintenance coordination and working with parts clerks.

  • Prior (PM) and machine inventory experience.

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Access is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to lift 50 lbs with or without accommodation.

  • Repetitive motion of wrist, hand, and fingers.

  • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, and move about the facility.

  • Requires PPE to include safety glasses, steel-toe shoes with metatarsal guards, cut-resistance gloves and hearing protection, cut-resistant sleeves, and hard hats in applicable areas.
