Job Title: Setup Technician
Job Description
Day-to-day work will consist of answering calls from the line to troubleshoot issues that occur with the injection molding machines and conveyor. This role is very similar to an entry-level maintenance mechanic. You will also change molds, change colors, and check time, heat, and pressure levels to ensure machinery is running effectively. You will be required to stop and restart the machines/conveyors utilizing computer/tablet systems. Duties will also include cleaning up resin/fall off, vacuuming, and some general mechanical tasks.
Responsibilities
Answer calls to troubleshoot issues with injection molding machines and conveyor.
Change molds and colors, and check time, heat, and pressure levels.
Stop and restart machines/conveyors using computer/tablet systems.
Clean up resin/fall off and vacuum the area.
Perform general mechanical tasks as needed.
Essential Skills
Mechanical aptitude is required.
Experience in maintenance, heavy equipment, troubleshooting, or similar fields.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Prior experience with injection mold setting is a huge plus.
Experience with machine changeovers and setup is a big plus.
