Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SQLRPGLE Python IT Service Management Synon DB2/400 and CLP along with domain experience in Advent Geneva. This role is based in our office and operates during day shifts. No travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software applications using SQLRPGLE Python Synon and CLP.

• Ensure the integrity and performance of the DB2/400 database.

• Implement IT Service Management practices to enhance service delivery.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for software applications.

• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle including design development testing and deployment.

• Optimize and refactor existing code to improve performance and maintainability.

• Document software designs code and processes for future reference.

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the companys software remains competitive.

• Work closely with the Advent Geneva domain to ensure seamless integration and functionality.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.

• Ensure all software solutions align with the companys goals and objectives.

Qualifications

• Possess strong technical skills in SQLRPGLE Python Synon DB2/400 and CLP.

• Demonstrate experience in IT Service Management and its application in software development.

• Have domain expertise in Advent Geneva ensuring effective integration and functionality.

• Exhibit excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Show proficiency in database management and optimization.

• Display strong communication and collaboration abilities.

• Maintain a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies.
