Job Summary:
The Accounts Receivable/Accounts Receivable Sr. Analyst is responsible for analyzing and managing the accounts payable and receivable activities, ensuring compliance with internal controls, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role requires a deep understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze accounts payable/receivable activities to ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting policies.
• Maintain and reconcile the accounts payable and receivable ledger to validate charges and ensure timely payments.
• Utilize financial data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvements or cost savings.
• Generate reports to provide insights into collections, account ages, and other relevant financial metrics.
• Collaborating with sales, customer service, and accounting departments to resolve payment discrepancies and improve the overall payment cycle.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in billings, collections, and payments.
• Analyze customer credit history, determine credit risks, and recommend credit limits and payment terms.
• Evaluating and recommending solutions for continuous improvement pertaining to the level of AR/AP responsibility. High Impact Behaviors:

Qualifications:
• A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field with at least 4 years experience or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.
• Proficiency with accounting software, spreadsheets, and databases.
• Strong grasp of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present financial data to management.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications such as the Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP) or Certified Accounts Receivable Professional (CARP) can enhance your qualifications.
