Maintenance Electrician

Fully on-site permanent position in Shelbyville, Indiana.

Job Description

Maintenance Electricians will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing any electrical issues on the manufacturing floor. Engage in the repair of all process, production, and facility equipment. Lead and coordinate activities and repairs for equipment failures. Ensure equipment failures are resolved in a timely order. Document daily activities in the maintenance CMMS system. Plan, coordinate, and implement quality standard for the Maintenance Areas. Communicate with all positions as necessary to successfully complete assigned projects and ensure the plant equipment and facilities are in proper working order. Generate information to secure the necessary parts to complete projects and repairs. Participate in PM events in all areas as necessary. Monitor all emergency breakdown calls and call for technical assistance as needed.

Shift

• Nights: 6:45pm - 7:15am

• 2 on 2 off, 3 on 3 off.

• OT is voluntary

Pay

• $31.25 Starting.

• Once hired, employees can take an assessment at any time to test into a higher pay level.

• Study materials are provided by the company. They can take the assessment as many times as needed for free.

• Level 1: $31.25, Level 2: $32.25, Level 3: $33.25, Level 4: $34.25, Level 5: $35.25, Level 6: $36.25.

Work Environment

Industrial manufacturing, hot and dirty throughout most of the facility.
