ManpowerGroup Industrial Engineer in Shelbyville, Indiana

Our client, a leading distribution facility, is seeking an Industrial Engineer to join their team. As an Industrial Engineer, you will be part of the Operations team supporting multiple locations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, be organized, and have experience in Continuous Improvement.

Job Title: Industrial Engineer

Location: Shelbyville, Indiana

Pay Range: $100,000-$115,000 + $13,000 bonus target and $3,700 yearly restricted stock

What's the Job?

  • Analyze workforce utilization, facility layout, and operation data, such as production costs, production flow charts, and production schedules to determine efficient utilization of workers and equipment

  • Recommend methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities

  • Participate in and help lead special projects

  • Coordinate industrial engineering projects

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (ideally industrial engineering)

  • Experience in Continuous Improvement

  • Ability to work weekends on an occasional basis

  • Ability to travel independently up to 50% on a regular basis

  • Excellent analytical skills
