What will you be doing?

• Ensures team adheres to industry standards and OSHA safety regulations for handling and disposing of test samples.

• Handles security documents and must ensure that all information and data collected in the lab is authenticated, validated, and kept safe.

• Order lab supplies and materials to support test development as needed • Assist in the design of test fixtures as needed

• Implement actions that support the department's key performance metrics and operational efficiency

• Support IATF 16949 and ISO 17025 procedure development and implementation

• Physical set up of servo-hydraulic lab equipment and test systems.

• Operate MTS Flex Test software.

• Conduct tests from Test Requests provided by engineers.

• Execute test procedures.

• Troubleshoot tests set ups and equipment issues when necessary.

• Monitor test progress and document observations, communicate project status and results to requesting engineers.

• Assure raw test data is stored properly.

• Maintain lab cleanliness

What do you bring?

• Education: Associate degree in Engineering Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive testing.

• Computer Skills: Advanced, Experience in CAD software preferred Certifications and Licenses:

• Minimum OSHA 10 Certification Other Requirements: Firm grasp of Automotive industry spec requirements and standards. Handpowered, standard shop fabrication, repair, and design tooling equipment necessary
