Description:

POSITION SUMMARY :

These positions are responsible for performing Cardiopulmonary diagnostic

exams and therapeutic modalities and maintain department records.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Must be a graduate of an accredited school for Respiratory Therapy and be a Certified

Respiratory Therapy Technician by the National Board for Respiratory Care.

  1. Must complete annual education requirements and maintain all regulatory requirements

including all state, federal and TJC regulations.

  1. Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and written. Additional languages preferred.

  2. Basic computer knowledge required.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

  1. Primarily involves balancing, standing, and reading, though employs wide range of physical activities.

  2. Requires frequently lifting, carrying and/or pushing/pulling a wide range of weight up to 35 lbs unassisted.

  3. Is very frequently performing detailed tasks, continuously being subject to interruptions,

and evolving and changing work priorities.

  1. Involves exposure to temperature and humidity changes, and exposure to electrical

shock, vapors, fumes, gases, radiation, and infectious disease.
