OLD WISCONSIN SAUSAGE CO Sr. Cost Accountant in SHEBOYGAN, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Analyze information and options by developing Excel spreadsheet reports, verifying information. Prepare and analyze Standard Costs for Direct Labor and Overhead. Microsoft Finance & Operations Enhance and leverage functionality with fully costed routings and costing of all WIP and FG items. Assist in the Cycle Count process and analyze variances. Assist in monthly inventory reconciliation. Analyze Staffing needs and validate Staffing with payroll records (UltiPro). Prepare and Maintain Sales Product and Mix reporting. Maintain Least Cost Formulations (LCF) Excel workbook. Update based on R&D updates and Knowledge Mine (KM) performance. Maintain Standards in KM System. Maintain ABC Overhead Cost files for CBC and Montgomery. Assist with external audit. Other responsibilities as assigned. Office location: Sheboygan, WI. - Weeden Creek facility. Job Requirements: Bachelor\'s degree in accounting or finance. 5+ years of accounting experience; cost accounting preferred. 3+ years of operational experience, especially with inventory. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft-Finance and Operations. Food industry experience a plus. Excellent analytical skills with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and high confidence in stating professional opinions. Strong grasp of GAAP accounting and general accounting concepts. Advanced Excel and data management skills required. Working Conditions: Approximately 50% of time will be in the plant with 32-degree temperatures. Salary/ Wage for role is dependent on level of experience.
