Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Conversion Project Manager for one of our clients who provides software and services to the Property and Casualty Insurance industry. This role will have the ability to sit fully remote (located in Eastern or Central time zones) with occasional travel, quarterly, to our clients site.

As a Project Manager, will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also define the projects objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the planning and implementation of the conversion project within the property and casualty insurance division.

Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.

Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.

Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.

Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.

Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.

Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.

Track project milestones and deliverables.

Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.

Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.

Skills and Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Property & Casualty Insurance

• 5+ years as a Project Manager

• Experience completing a successful conversion

• Strong familiarity with project management software, such as Microsoft Project.

• Located in Eastern or Central Time zone - Based in Wisconsin or Chicago area

• Experience converting from one admin system to another admin system null
