JOB REQUIREMENTS: QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity for a Maintenance Mechanic at a company in Sheboygan, WI. This is a direct hire position for 1st or 2nd shift. Maintenance Mechanic Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Adhering strictly to safety and health regulations/policies. - Executing preventative maintenance activities. - Knowledge/understanding of drive systems (installation, pulley alignment, belt installation, and tracking), mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical maintenance. - Managing multiple priorities with a team. - Working with production and engineering to increase equipment and line efficiency. - Troubleshooting and reducing/eliminating recurring problems. - Using computers/equipment manuals to diagnose problems and order components. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Maintenance Mechanic Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent; secondary education preferred. - Experience in computerized maintenance management systems is a plus. - Ability to communicate and make independent decisions. - Basic fabrication skills, including MIG welding. - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to write reports and correspondence. - Basic math and measuring skills. - Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds. - Ability to stand for full shift. - Ability to problem solve. ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: E-Mail a Rsum: sheboyganresumes@qpsemployment.com This position is listed by a private employment agency.
