Description and Requirements
Job Overview: Responsible for mechanical design and engineering of Autonomous Driving/ADAS/In-Vehicle Infotainment compute projects.
Responsibilities and Duties:
List the essential duties required to carry out this job.
Lead the mechanical design and engineering of Autonomous Driving/ADAS/In-Vehicle Infotainment compute products, from requirement analysis to mass production
Co-work with Thermal/EE/layout engineer to create mechanical architecture, and PCBA stacking design based on requirements analysis
Perform mechanical detail design, material and process definition
Mechanical part DFM / DFA review, tooling trial review and approval
Track projects and progress through regular reviews
Assist product cost control and cost down, assist sourcing team develop supplier
Build lessons learn, keep learning new technology, process and material
Provide technical support to customer and sales team
Qualifications:
5+ years of mechanical design and engineering experience, with bachelor’s degree or above, major in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
1+ years of Automotive Electronics product experience, with at least one of the following three products experience: IVI domain, ADAS domain, Autonomous Driving domain controllers
Experience in developing of products from requirement to mass products, with rich experience of mechanical design, PCBA stacking, material & manufacture feasibility study & DOE
Familiar with GD&T, TSA, DFMEA, etc.
Skilled with software tools, like Catia, Creo, NX
Familiar with Automotive connectors and related vendors
Work in a self-motivating way and autonomously find correct direction to solve problems
High level of document written skills in both Chinese & English, OK level communication skill in English
High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with customers, supplier & other stake holders
