Abbott Strategy Marketing Manager in Shanghai, China

Retail & EC Strategic MKT Manager R&R

  • Assist MKT Head to develop overall marketing strategy & tactics for Retail & EC channel and ensure strategic role fulfilled with proper programs & executions/tracking

  • Develop winning and differentiated brand communication strategies & tactics to establish strong brand equity for both channels with Hospital brand team

  • Capitalize on category trend, customer/consumer insights, define growth opportunities & priorities to help to achieve business target

  • Administer & supervise marketing plans’ implementation with flawless execution

  • P&L consciousness, strategically allocate resources & manage marketing expenditure budget to fulfil business needs and financial target

  • Liaise with cross functions such as finance, regulatory, medical affairs, sales and GA to ensure marketing strategies are realized

  • In conjunction with sales team to ensure synergy of marketing plan & sales plan and relevant departments to ensure smooth execution

  • Maintain up to-date information and understanding of market, competitor and consumer/customers

  • Ensure all business activities comply with the relevant Acts, legal demands, safety and ethical standards. Review complaints and suggestions relating to assigned products.

Position experiences

  • Rx/OTC Retail Marketing/Channel/Trade management experience, EC marketing experience is plus

  • Multiple products business management

  • Renewal/turn-around/ Growth business

  • Strategy development, execution, and measurement

  • P&L, budgeting, planning & forecasting, finance

  • Risk-based analysis and decision making, and contingency planning

  • Identify and capitalize on customer opportunities.

  • Talent management/development

  • Regulatory, QA, legal policies/environment

  • Move from an operational “doing” role to a strategic one. Achieve results through teams rather than individual effort.
