JOB SUMMARYSr Director of Industrial Engineering will be responsible for planning, designing, implementing, and managing; integrated, productions and service delivery systems that assure performance, reliability, maintainability, schedule adherence and cost control for Jabil globally. The Sr Director of Industrial Engineering will drive the following goals: profitability, effectiveness, adaptability, responsiveness, quality, and the continuous improvement of products and services throughout their life cycles. Establishes strategic direction, develops tactical plans, and completes complex assignments with minimal supervision or review.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES· Demonstrates an entrepreneurial spirit and drive· Full global responsibility for a Profit and Loss (P&L)· Work both within the Manufacturing Operations organization and cross functionally across organizations (Planning, Purchasing, Engineering, Business Development and Operations) to meet production requirements and maximize internal and external customer satisfaction· Identify and aggressively manage and implement cost savings initiatives and improvements in productivity· Provide thought leadership on developing creative solutions to complex manufacturing and engineering problems· Prepare and facilitate technical review and discussions, technology demonstration and presentations to internal or external customers. Prepare and participate in technical meetings, tactical or strategic planning with other functional areas and/or upper management.· Develop and maintain the long term industrial engineering vision and master plan describing the evolution of engineering in the sites· Drive innovation and Intellectual Property (IP)· Ensure the standardization of Jabil processes throughout Jabil in accordance with the Executive Management direction· Define the IE training, mentoring, and education needed throughout the department and all global sites· Support the Lean organization by developing a solid process foundation and data integrity in order to support process improvement through the organization· Develop and maintain the Industrial Engineering succession plan· May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

JOB QUALIFICATIONSKNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS· Key Requirements:o Understanding and application of broad range of industrial engineering tools (ie. Work measurement, simulation, process mapping, facilities and workstation design, operations research, etc.)o Understanding of Jabil’s global strategies and directiono Understanding of Jabil’s regional facilities, regional capabilities and how they tie back to the Jabil strategies and directiono Understanding of the complete Sales to Payment processo Strong financial and analytical abilityo Proven track record of successful change management accomplishments, implementing and management continuous improvements and cost reduction programso Strong communication skills· Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint), Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project, and e-mail skills requiredEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS· Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering required· MS in Industrial Engineering or MBA required· Lean Silver Certificate or Six Sigma Black Belt preferred· At least 15 years of working experience in the Industrial Engineering or related field, with a minimum of 8 years of managerial experience· Or a combination of education, experience, and training
