The Senior Staff IT Business Analyst, D&A for Cytiva is responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, focusing on Business Intelligence and Automation Solutions within China/APAC.

This position is part of the China IT located in Shanghai and will be working in an onsite model. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What you will do:

• Requirements Gathering and Analysis:

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of their needs, pain points, and objectives regarding BI and automation.

• Document, and prioritize business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

• Analyze existing processes and identify potential opportunities for automation.

• Solution Delivery:

• Translate business requirements into comprehensive functional specifications for BI dashboards, reports, and automation tools.

• Collaborate with technical teams to design and deliver efficient and effective solutions.

• Demonstrate project management skills to ensure timely and successful solution implementation.

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

• Solution Adoption and Support:

• Foster the development of a user community for BI tools and automation processes

• Provide ongoing support and address user queries related to the implemented solutions

• Proactively identify areas for improvement and propose ehancements to optimize user experience

Who you are:

• 3-5 Years Experience as a Business Analyst or Architect, specifically in BI and/or process automation projects within a multi-national organization

• Strong ability to communicate effectively in both English and Mandarin

• Proficiency in data analysis, requirements elicitation, and process modeling. Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Qlik and Power BI, as well as knowledge of automation platforms like RPA.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.

• Problem-solving mindset with a keen attention to detail.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Project Management experience will be a plus

• Experience in information security and architecture would be advantageous.

• Willingness to continuously learn new concepts and technologies, like AI/ML, is highly desirable
